In honor of Black Music Month, come join us as we watch “Record Row: Cradle of Rhythm and Blues” a film discussing the impact of Rhythm and Blues from Chicago-based artists from the 1950s-1970s.

Post the film screening will be a short discussion & panel with time for mingling.

Freedom Sessions Chicago are creatively curated events that give guests an opportunity to connect intimately with each other and the local community. Those attending can expect to be inspired, empowered, mentally and spiritually stimulated. Feasting on synergies like liberation and healing and readying themselves to be their best selves. These sessions include live music, interactive storytelling, poetry, spoken word, in depth conversations and opportunities to buy goods from collaborators and other local vendors.
